Buddy

Well folks, glad you found us.  We share a lot of info on our outreach Facebook Page: Buddy’s “Be the Dog” Life which was started by our boy Buddy when he had cancer.  He wanted to build awareness about K9 Cancer; about how to LIVE with it, and how to fight it.  Over time, friends on his page have asked about some of the articles we posted, so here they are.  We’ll keep adding to this as we post.  The sad thing is, we post about different cancers that friends on this page had and heck, Buddy and I account for: Melanoma, Mast Cell, Nasal, Oral Melanoma, Liver, Hemangiosarcoma on the heart to name a few. Bob before us started the roll with Hemangiosarcoma on the heart.  That’s why the very first link we are posting is for the Animal Cancer Foundation.  This foundation specializes in comparative oncology that applies what we learn about cancer in our companion animals to the humans that also fight cancer.  Whitefish Dog and Home donates a portion of our proceeds to fund this research to kick this evil to the curb.  Please chip in a bit if you can, and if you can’t please share the location of that foundation so others might. Let us know if you want us to look into a kind of cancer you don’t see here.  We’ll be happy to help because knowledge is power… Power of the PAW:
